Evening walk at Lantic Bay

We have spent the last days working in the garden. In the evenings we like to take the car to different locations nearby and go for walks. Either on trails taking us to beaches along the beautiful coastline or on paths in the forests. I’ll dedicate another post to the forests around here. They surely deserve their own post! 🙂

So, after having dinner yesterday we jumped in the car and drove to the National Trust’s car park above Lantic Bay. We followed the trail from the car park.

After just a few minutes walk in a field we had the astonishing Lantic Bay beneath us. It was overcast and not super warm, but with views like that it really doesn’t matter to me (as long as there is visibility enough to see, I’m happy).

The South West Coast Path

The South West Coast Path stretches for 630 miles (!) and is rated as one of the top walks in the world by Lonely Planet. I can definitely see why. I will come back with more pictures from other parts of it and when the weather is a little nicer.

The cows behind me can’t complain over the view from their dinner table 🙂
