Hendersick Farm to Talland Bay

A short walk from Hendersick Farm, via the coast path, to Talland Bay. A quick stop for a Roskillys ice cream at the Talland Beach Cafe (yum!) before climbing the steep hill out of Talland back to the NT Carpark at Hendersick.

The boiler of the steam trawler ‘Marguerite‘, wrecked in 1922, can still be seen on a low tide in the middle of Talland Bay. The 21 crew were rescued in a heroic action by Coxswain Toms and the crew of ‘Ryder’ lifeboat.
